My kids

I just wanted to write how proud I am of my kids. Madeline's last parent teacher conference went well and she's on a 2nd grade + level in reading. She reads books every night to go to sleep. She is such a good worker in her homework too.

Ethan is doing well in writing. He knows how to type his full name on the computer, and write it - including his middle name.

I love seeing my kids doing well. It is so fun to watch them grow. I'm grateful that I have them - I have been truly blessed!

Madeline's School Christmas Program

Madeline is on the first row, second from the right. Hard to see her though. The lighting wasn't good for taking pictures, but I recorded it on video. She sang 2 songs - I'll be a little angel and Must be Santa. They were all wearing angel halos.

Contract Signed

On Saturday, we signed a contract to sell our house. It is contingent on the people selling their house though. They have until Feb. 28th to sell their house and move into ours. So we don't know if it will actually happen, but it will be sad to leave, but exciting to move to a new place. Our house is listed here: http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=4968038&cat=

Christmas Party

Ethan went to a Christmas party today for his friend from church, named Ethan also. He had lots of fun there. They had Santa come and they had lunch and a gift swap and made crafts. Ethan picked out silly string for the gift, but thought he was going to get it instead of giving it away. So luckily Emily was nice enough to swap someone for it. Thanks to Emily and Ethan for inviting Ethan.

Bunk Beds

We just got new bunk beds for Madeline and Ethan.  Even though they have separate rooms, they like to sleep in the same room.  We thought one bed was getting to be too small.  Ethan was on one end and Madeline on the other.  But now, Madeline gets the top bunk and Ethan gets the bottom.  I always wanted a bunk bed when I was little, but now my kids have one :)

Twilight

Jared and I saw Twilight on Saturday.  Neither of us had read the book.  We both liked it though.  Now I am starting to read it.  Love it!

To move or not to move????

We are trying to decide if we need to move or not.  Mainly because our fence got tagged.  We don't want the neighborhood going downhill.  We have been looking at houses in the South Jordan/West Jordan area trying to still stay close to Jared's work.  Any suggestions?
