Lagoon A Beach for Labor Day

We spent Labor Day at Lagoon A Beach. Madeline went on water slides with Jared while I hung out with Ethan on the kiddie rides. Too bad he is too short to go on most rides. He gets his height gene from me. There are more pictures of Ethan since I was with him the most.

Heritage Park visit

On Saturday, we went to This is the Place Heritage Park with my parents for the first time. It was interesting to go and see what they had there. The kids got to do some crafts, ride a train and a mini train and do pony rides and a petting zoo.

No more Wyatt :(

We gave Wyatt, our Foster Care boy, to another home that has had him a lot for respite, since it looked like his mother is likely to get him back and we were wanting to adopt. That happened last Thursday. We are going to change our preferences in Foster Care to babies now. I am very baby hungry and would like to see if that would work for us.

Home Depot Kid's Workshop

On Saturday, we took our kids and one of their cousins to a Home Depot clinic to make a bird house. It is mostly like the adults building the project though. The kids had fun though. Here's a picture of the finished project.

My brother's family visited us

My brother Erik and wife Christie visited with their 5 kids. They stayed at our house and it was a lot of fun. Made some good memories. We had the Oquirrh Mountain temple open house that we were able to attend, we went to the Herriman beach, the Sweet Candy company tour, the zoo, took family pictures - (we got the copyright, so I will post them when they come in), did sealings at the Jordan River temple and went to Lagoon.

Here are some old fashioned pictures we took at Lagoon and got the copyright for:

Ethan learned how to ride a bike.

Jared practiced with Ethan and in just a couple of days, he was riding like a pro. I just need to get a bike and then we all can go on family bike rides.
