Halloween 2010

Here are our kids with their cousins for trick or treating. They went for 2 1/2 hours!!! and got a load of candy! Except Tommy and Lehlonnie couldn't make it being so young and came home earlier.

Here's Tommy as a monkey

Here's Lehlonnie as Belle

School activities for Halloween

Jared and I were able to go to the Halloween parade at our kids school. Jared luckily had the day off. We both volunteered in their classrooms as well for their school Halloween parties. They were both at the same time, so Jared went to Ethan's class and I went to Madeline's class.

Here is Madeline at one of the classroom games being dressed as a mummy.

Madeline in the school parade. She wanted to be a dead cheerleader.

Ethan following his sister's example chose to be a dead Tae Kwon Do person

Halloween Carnival 2010

We went to a Halloween carnival the week before Halloween with our kids and their cousins. They had a great time hearing stories, watching short movies, and then searching for the great pumpkin.

Here's a picture of my nephew Tommy who was wearing an adorable monkey costume

Here's Madeline with her face painted

Lehlonnie, our foster placement, as you can tell had just been eating some of her candy.

Teeth Pulling

Mid-October, Madeline had 4 of her teeth pulled to make room for some teeth coming in. We took her to some orthodontists and they recommended it. She was very brave. Her cousin had the same thing done. She will have to get braces in the future though because of crowding. Ethan had a tooth pulled a short time after. It was his very first tooth lost.
