Ultrasound - my late Christmas present
When I found out they did early ultrasounds I had to
get one to find out the gender. I couldn't wait :)
I kind of already knew what it would be because
my dad gave me a priesthood blessing 6 1/2 years
ago and in that blessing, he saw 2 kids - a boy
and a girl and that he could see them worried
about if I would be ok since I went through some
hard times that year and had to be hospitalized
for some depression. But I never gave up hope
on having those kids even though I thought I was
getting older and there was a 7 year gap between
my two sons and I just needed to have faith that
it would happen.

Another quote
I just finished a book called Preparing him for the other woman. It's about helping your son become a man with high values and standards worthy of an equally strong woman, one who will fight for what he believes in - that which is good in this world. I thought it was a good read.
Anyways I always find some passage that speaks to me and this is one: "Many times God reveals Himself to us when we are broken and cannot fix ourselves." I know that is true. The hardest times in my life are the times when I learn the most. Even though I wouldn't ask for those experiences, I would never want to take them away.

Quote from a book
I was reading Tiger's Quest and I came across a quote that I liked.
"The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain."
I liked this because the sorrow we face here on earth is not for naught, but helps us understand what true happiness is.

What a woman wants show / Santa and Ashton
Ashton went with Angie and I to the What a woman wants show at South Towne Expo.
Ashton was so cuddly with Santa - It was so cute!
Gingerbread houses
We made gingerbread houses a little while ago and had hot chocolate afterwards.
A fun family tradition :)
