Trip to IOWA

We went to the highest point in nebraska and all of us got a certificate saying that we did.

 We stopped by the tri state monument so we were able to stand in colorado, wyoming, nebraska at the same time.

 When we left, I was driving and I got us stuck in the mud by some cows.  So our car got splattered with mud as well as Jared and another guy who helped push us out.

 We stopped by the Omaha zoo.  We had a great time there!

We went with Jared's parents to Reiman Gardens and they had a lego display in the gardens at different parts which was fun to see.  We also went through the butterfly garden.

Song about a miscarriage that always makes me cry

Jared found this song and played it for me and it always makes me cry.  Kind of heart wrenching.  Our Madeline is 10 this year and the part about watching star wars in your pjs reminds me of this summer how our kids watched star wars for the first time with their cousins in Alaska.  Miscarriages are always hard when you think about what could have been...
