Today was Madeline's first day of First Grade and she took it pretty well. We'll see how she does going all day. It breaks my heart to have her gone so long, but I guess I will get used to it little by little. She got a new backpack - a kitty cat one that she wanted and a tinkerbell lunch bag to take her lunch in. She's going to have hot lunch 2 days a week and take her lunch the rest of the days. Wonder how Ethan will take it having Madeline gone most of the day. He will have Joy School to go to though - Tuesdays and Thursdays starting next week. I can't believe the summer has gone by so fast.

That's so exciting! Ashton starts next week but we did the all day kindergarten thing last year so this year will be a breeze. The only thing is that by 6 PM at night he was SO tired and would stare off into space at dinner time. We do the same thing with rotating between hot lunch and cold lunch. :)
