Aspen Grove

We were able to attend Aspen Grove last weekend Fri. night - Sun. morning. It was a fun experience. The foster care foundation of Utah paid for most of it, we just had to pay $10/person. We got to stay in a small cabin without running water, but with beds and electricity. We got to eat all our meals in the Emerald Dining Hall and got to see a magic show, talent show and had some hands on family activities outside. They even babysat the kids while the adults had a 3 hour learning session. We even ran into friends that lived in Virginia when we did - Brad and JanaLynn. The evening we came back, the Herriman fire started.

I love Aspen Grove! What a fun time for your family & how amazing to run to into the Young's there. Was it for all families in Utah that Foster?

Congratulation again on your pregnancy - that is so amazing and exciting for you and your family! Patience has been your constant friend these past 6 years....and now you are receiving the very blessing you were waiting for!

Glad to know you are safe from the Herriman fire - I haven't seen the photo you posted...that really was such an intense fire, and it's such a blessing that not many more homes were affected.

Keep posting --- it's fun to hear about your family!

Aspen Grove was reserved that weekend for families that do foster care in Utah. Nice bonus for Foster Care families.

Hey Christi! I just got caught up on your blog! Yeah! A baby coming your way! Congratulations! That's so neat you got to see Brad and Janalynn at Aspen Grove too. One summer I worked there as a 4 yr old camp counselor-the trompers! It's an awesome place!
