So we signed a contract on a house in Herriman (signed before we saw the house) and we were planning to move this Friday, but things changed. I decided it wasn't my "dream house" - the house I wanted to live in forever. Decided that a little too late. I decided this after our earnest money would be taken away from us. We had a deadline of Jan. 19 at 5pm. I felt like we shouldn't move there the evening of the 19th, after the deadline was over, but wasn't aware of the earnest money until the next morning when I talked to the realtor. So just today there was a loophole in the contract. The appraisal didn't come in high enough for the purchase price, so lucky for us, we were able to get our earnest money back and get out of the house contract. Yay!
We put another offer on a foreclosure house in Juniper Point - a house that is so beautiful - new - and my dream house. We will find out if they accept the offer or not in a few days. So wish us the best!!!!
We found out that we didn't get the house :( Well we have time now to choose the perfect house.
