Oct. 15
We got up early at 6:00 a.m. and left to meet up at Hanauma Bay for snorkeling at 7:30 a.m. While we were there, Jared lost his wedding ring :( He still needs to find a new one. We were thinking this trip was bad luck with Ethan having stitches and Jared losing his wedding ring, but after that we had a wonderful rest of the trip.

After Hanauma Bay, we went to the Sea Life park and saw a dolphin and a sea lion show. Then we went to Keneke's in Waimanalo to have lunch and they had huge portions of food. We found that Hawaiians are really into macaroni salad and rice and lots of meat. We ate at L&L Hawaiian BBQ for dinner and it was the same there, so we just split one meal and it was plenty for both of us.

After lunch, we went kayaking in Kailua to the flat island. We were able to get Go Oahu cards for us and it enabled us to do all these fun things. Jared got it off craigslist for a discounted price and then Jared created an itinerary for the 3 days that we could use the card.
We also went to the Nuuanu Pali Lookout. "At the world-famous Pali Lookout, which Mark Twain described as one of the most beautiful views on Earth, you'll see the aquamarine waters of Kaneohe Bay and the rugged 2,000-foot vertical cliffs of the majestic Koolau Mountain Range."

We went to a Hawaii Walmart and I kept making Jared go back and back for more - I was like in heaven with all the stuff they had there - souveneirs and clothes and macadamia nut chocolates and salty seeds.
